2% Alpha Arbutin

Extracted from plants such as bearberries, blueberries, and cranberries, alpha arbutin is a safe skin brightening ingredient that helps to fade scars and pigmentation left behind by breakouts and sun damage.

Alpha – Arbutin is the silent skin scholar, less well known that the usual skincare actives, Alpha – Arbutin can decrease skin pigmentation and improve skin texture.

Alpha – Arbutin breaks down to form hydroquinone & functions to decrease the activity of the enzyme that produces pigment (melanin).

Targets: pigmentation, melasma, sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

When to apply: Up to twice daily, am & pm.

Is friendly with just about everyone. Low irritant potential makes this ideal for patients with sensitive skin.
